Data Processing

Website

On our website, we collect information when website users make use of contact forms or sign up for a FIG Distribution newsletter. Furthermore, FIG Distribution processes your Personal Data when you place an order or have been a customer. FIG Distribution has to be able to deliver the products you order, invoice them, inform you regarding your order and possibly to settle a claim or dispute. In light of legitimate business purposes, we might send you email communications regarding FIG Distribution and/or interesting information. Storage and Receivers

FIG Distribution stores the processed Personal Data for as long as necessary for the purposes for which the data was collected and/or for as long as the Data Subject makes use of our services and the processed Personal Data is necessary for these services. As such, inactive client accounts shall be deleted after a period of 2 years if the Data Subject has not used the account for these 2 years. When a purpose of data collection has been concluded FIG Distribution will assess whether we are required to store personal data by law, or in order to settle a claim or dispute. For example, as required by law FIG Distribution stores (personal) data for the duration of 7 years, if (personal) data is related to our financial administration, this is generally the case in the case of product orders.

FIG Distribution uses certain third parties in order to provide their services. For example, in order to host our website and to process the data collected on the website. These third parties are contractually bound to FIG Distribution and if this is required, FIG Distribution concludes a Data Processing Agreement with these parties.
